Petr Cech has made the eighth-most saves in the Premier League this season.

Cech has made 19 saves in the Premier League so far this season in just seven games played.

The 35-year-old is level with three other shot-stoppers: Jonas Lossl, Simon Mignolet and Mat Ryan. Above him is Jack Butland, who’s made 20 saves, and Everton new boy, Jordan Pickford with 21.

However, it’s a former Arsenal man who ranks top.

Łukasz Fabiański has made a whopping 29 saves already this term.

The 32-year-old signed for Swansea in 2014 after failing to become Arsenal’s no.1 and has become their first choice pair of safe hands.

Considering the Swans are currently down in 18th, however, it’s no wonder the Poland international has had to make so many saves.

It could be a lot worse though. They’ve only let in eight goals. That’s the fewest amount in the bottom eight. The problem is, they’ve scored just three. So, if it wasn’t the Fabs, it could be looking far bleaker.

Cech meanwhile is doing well for Arsenal despite many claiming he’s far past his best. The former Chelsea man has let in eight. However, the 11 scored at the other end obviously make a difference.
