Petr Cech has been Arsenal’s best performing player this season, according to stats from Sky Sports.

Sky Sports regularly release a “power ranking” of the Premier League’s best performing players .

They examine 32 different matchday stats and assign players a certain number of points based on their performances from their last five games, with more recent games given more weight.

In their latest list, Petr Cech was Arsenal’s best performer, with 6,092 points. However, he ranked 17th in the list overall.

Alexandre Lacazette is apparently our second best performer with 5,685 points. He was ranked 25th.

Sergio Aguero tops the list with 10,992 points, followed by Alvarto Morata with 9,030 and Harry Kane with 8,436. No doubt their recent scoring form has influenced their position.

Amongst the players that rank higher than Cech are Brighton’s Tomer Hemed, Shane Duffy, and Pascal Gross, and Huddersfield’s Christopher Schindler.

Meanwhile, Arsenal are up to sixth in the Premier League table and now level on points with Chelsea and just a point behind Tottenham.

They’ve won three of their last four Premier League games, but apparently don’t have many players performing that well if this list is anything to go by.
