Arsenal have won 44% of their matches in the last five years when down to 10 men.

That’s according to research carried out by Bet Bonus Code (via the Daily Star).

The research looked into which Premier League teams won the most after having a player sent off in league matches from the last five years.

Arsenal have the second highest win percentage, winning 44% of their games.

While that’s impressive, it still falls way short of Manchester City’s 70% win ratio.

Tottenham, meanwhile, have only won 10% of their games, which places them joint 13th on the list.

Manchester United (17%) and Chelsea (21%) are firmly mid-table, while Liverpool have won a respectable 33% of their matches after a red card.

The results show that Arsenal are more than capable of rallying after a sending off and seeing out a result.

The last red card Arsenal received in the Premier League was on the final day of last season.

Laurent Koscielny was sent off in the first half against Everton, but that didn’t prevent Arsenal from recording a comfortable 3-1 victory.

The same couldn’t be said in the Champions League, where a Koscielny red card eventually led to a 5-1 thrashing against Bayern Munich.

Arsenal have yet to receive a red card in any competition this season.
