A Kosovan Gunner has named his son ‘Arsenal’ to show his love for the club.

In fact, Goal report that this is Astrit Dervishaj’s second child named after the club, as his 3-year-old daughter is called ‘Arsena’.

You can see Astrit’s Instagram post below, in which he announced the naming, before he (understandably) made his account private.

His wife reportedly had no problem with the name, and they’d both be happy to name a third child after the club, although according to Goal they aren’t planning to have any more. We’ll have to wait a few years to find out just how happy the children are about their names, especially if they grow up disliking football.

Stories like this just show you how crazy people go for the Gunners all over the world.

A few years ago one father named his daughter ‘Lanesra’, and it was only two years later that the girl’s mother realised it was ‘Arsenal’ backwards. It even turned out that he wasn’t the only one to have the same idea, as BBC found more parents doing the same thing.

Personally, I’m going to stick with wearing the shirt and watching the games as my method of showing support, but to each their own.
