Sead Kolasinac obviously impressed pundits with his performance against Swansea on Saturday because he’s been named in a few people’s Team of the Week.

Garth Crooks and Goal have both named Kolasinac in their Premier League Team of the Week while Italian outlet, Gazzetta dello Sport, has chosen the wing-back for their European Team of the Week.

Crooks was impressed with the 24-year-old’s display against the Swans and insists he’s been an admirer of the former Schalke ace since the Chelsea match.

Not only did the big guy grab the equalising goal, he also assisted Aaron Ramsey’s winner.

“To find yourself so far up the field in open play is one thing but having the composure to handle matters so effectively is something entirely different,” Crooks wrote. “If Wenger is free during the international break, perhaps Theresa May might ask the Arsenal manager if he could conduct the Brexit negotiations with European chief negotiator Michel Barnier.”

The former Spurs man even claims the Bosnia international could be the signing of the season, since Arsenal got him on a free.

Goal also hail Kolasinac, calling him a “a force to be reckoned with at both ends of the pitch”.

The outlet also named Rambo in their Team of the Week after the Welshman netted his 50th goal in red and white. The 26-year-old is having a good season so far, scoring three and assisting the same amount in nine Premier League appearances. It’s great to see him keeping fit and enjoying his football.

Kolasinac made Gazzetta dello Sport’s European Team of the Week as well and even picked up an 8/10 rating. As Sport Witness point out, getting rated above seven in an Italian outlet is tough unless you really put in a fantastic performance.

The only other Premier League players to make Gazzetta dello Sport’s European Team of the Week are West Ham’s Joe Hart and Manchester City’s Leroy Sané.
