Despite the general consensus being that Petr Cech is past his best, the goalkeeper has kept the third-most clean sheets in the Premier League since 2015.

Since Cech signed for Arsenal from Chelsea in 2015, the 35-year-old has managed to keep 32 clean sheets – the third most in the Premiership behind David de Gea (36) and Hugo Lloris (33) during the same time frame.

Cech’s kept four clean sheets so far this season after keeping 12 last term. During his first campaign with the Gunners, he kept 16.

Overall, he’s managed to keep 38 clean sheets over all competitions and shipped 94 goals.

Despite not managing to save a single penalty, Cech still isn’t a bad goalkeeper.

This season, he’s conceded an average of just 1.3 goals a game and he usually makes two saves (av.) per appearance. The shot-stopper also has a claim rate of 97%.

On Squawka, Cech’s currently rated as the sixth-best goalkeeper in the Premier League with the likes of Lloris, De Gea, Łukasz Fabiański, Ederson and Thibaut Courtois above him.

Arsenal have shipped 13 goals in the Premier League so far this season, which is still the most out of the top five. However, if David Ospina was our #1, it would be a lot worse.

Liverpool have conceded 16 goals despite the Gunners losing 4-0 to them at the end of August.
