Arsenal are ready to sell Alexis Sanchez in January, so they don’t miss out on a transfer fee next summer, according to latest reports in France.

Le Parisien claim that Arsenal would rather sell Alexis in the winter window rather than allow him to leave the club for free in the summer, reports the Metro. Manchester City almost managed to secure Alexis’ services at the end of August, but after Arsenal’s move for Thomas Lemar broke down, so did City’s for Alexis.

Now Le Parisien report that Paris Saint-Germain are still interested, despite their massive summer moves for Kylian Mbappé and Neymar. They apparently want to complete a three-pronged attack of the summer duo and Sanchez, with Edinson Cavani making way.

Although there’s been plenty in the news about Cavani and Neymar’s relationship breaking down, personally I can’t see PSG being so quick to offload a striker who has done so well for them, especially this season with his 13 goals and two assists in 17 games.

However, Alexis is a couple of years younger, so maybe swapping out one for the other could be in their interests, if the likes of Real Madrid were willing to make a big offer for the Uruguayan to help the Parisians cover their summer costs within FFP. It’s all speculation though.
