Alexis Sanchez has praised new teammate, Sead Kolasinac, for not just how tough he is on the pitch but his quality as well.

Alexis hailed Kolasinac recently following the 24-year-old’s impressive display against Swansea City in the Premier League.

“It’s tough [against him in training] because he’s strong and he’s hard to get around!” the Chilean told Arsenal Player. “He’s a very experienced player and he’s really strong.

“When it matters [in games], he finds me and makes good passes so I can score. He is an intelligent player who can create good goalscoring opportunities.

“He’s already demonstrated his quality. He’s scored goals, provided assists and shown what he can do both in European and league games.”

Kolasinac has now scored twice this season, including against FC Cologne in the Europa League. The Bosnia international has also provided three assists.

As Alexis says, he helps the team in all areas, from creating chances to demonstrating his strength at the back.

The former Schalke man has quickly become an Arsenal fan favourite. His determination and toughness make him one of the few players in Arsene Wenger’s squad that the opposition actually fear.

What’s more, Kolasinac has only picked up one yellow card across all competitions for Arsenal. This shows that he’s professional, mature and, as Alexis pointed out, experienced.

Despite being an absolute tank, Kolasinac often has a calm demeanor, which is pretty impressive at the age of just 24. Jack Wilshere’s 25 and even he still lets his head run away from his sometimes.

I don’t know a single Arsenal fan who doesn’t love Kolasinac and if he’s bedded into the Premier League this quickly, it’s exciting to see how the rest of his season will go.
