According to reports in Germany, Sead Kolašinac is due in court on Monday, due to a series of driving offences.

The Bosnian built up a points total that could lead to a driving ban, according to Bild. The reasons given for the points on Sead’s license were speeding, driving through red traffic lights and using his phone at the wheel.

In order to plead his case and avoid a ban Kolašinac will have to appear in person in Germany on MOnday. This creates a bit of difficulty for Arsenal, as the Gunners have a match on Thursday and will be in the midst of preparation for that.

But Kolašinac may not be too involved in the game against FC Köln anyway, having played the full match against Bournemouth at the weekend and with Chelsea coming up just three days after Arsenal’s Europa League game.

However, it’s still a bit of a blow to the team, given Kolašinac’s encouraging performance on Saturday. The Bosnian international has impressed in his very limited appearances at wing-back, and the Gunners will likely have to look at Nacho Monreal as a replacement, since Kieran Gibbs departed for West Brom over the summer.

Although Monreal should be more than capable of doing the job, it does mean either Nacho plays all three games this week, or somebody else fills in at centre-back against Chelsea.

Either way, an extra thing to think about for Arsène Wenger.
