Arsenal line up to face BATE Borisov in their second Europa League match of the season.

Arsenal are in Belarus to face BATE Borisov after beating FC Cologne 3-1 in their opening Europa League match.

While the Gunners have never encountered the Belarusian Premier League side before, it’s no secret that the atmosphere at the Borisov Arena will be pretty intimidating.

Arsene Wenger has put out an experienced team with a young bench, just as he said he would, and hopefully the senior players can help keep a lid on any emotions threatening to bubble over.

The youth players are there to rotate into the fold later in the game, especially seeing as Arsenal play Brighton in the Premier League on Sunday and need to keep as many players fit as possible.

After winning their first Europa League match, Arsenal fans have begun to change their tune and rather than write the competition off, some see is as the most realistic way of getting into the Champions League next season.

Although this clash isn’t exactly a must-win, it’d be beneficial to keep momentum with a solid three points away from home to a tough team.
