Laurent Koscielny, Olivier Giroud and Alexandre Lacazette have all been called up for France.

In contrast to the England squad, which now contains precisely zero Arsenal players, France have chosen three for their upcoming international games.

Kos, Giroud and Laca have all been given a call-up for France’s 2018 World Cup qualifying matches against Bulgaria and Belarus (7 and 10 October).

Kos and Giroud are senior France internationals. They’ve got 115 caps between them and Big Sexy has scored 27 goals.

However, Laca is only 26 and has some catching up to do.

The former Lyon man made his France debut in June 2013 but has since only featured 13 times for his country, scoring just once.

In fact, he’s yet to be given a proper chance in a competitive match. During the previous qualifiers against the Netherlands and Luxembourg, he only played for 10 and 30 minutes respectively.

Therefore, getting call-ups must still mean a lot to him and it’d be brilliant to see him get handed a start, especially considering how well he’s been playing for Arsenal since moving.

The striker’s scored four goals in six appearances – all of which have been during the three Premier League games at the Emirates.

His world rate has also been impressive, as has his movement, and Gooners have taken to him already.

Hopefully he gets rewarded for his efforts.
