Arsenal welcome Bundesliga side FC Koln to the Emirates Stadium in the Europa League group stages on Thursday night.

With Petr Cech, Laurent Koscielny, Alexandre Lacazette, Danny Welbeck, Granit Xhaka, Mesut Ozil and Aaron Ramsey all missing training, while Francis Coquelin is injured, Arsenal will have a much-changed, I feel.

Despite coming off the back of a win against Bournemouth, I believe the squad will change dramatically given Arsene Wenger will have an eye on Sunday’s Premier League meeting with Chelsea too.

In my opinion, Wenger will use the Europa League as a chance to give minutes to Arsenal’s fringe players who will not be starting in the weekend’s trip to Stamford Bridge.

David Ospina could replace Petr Cech in goal, with a back three of Per Mertesacker, Shkodran Mustafi and Rob Holding, I predict.

Hector Bellerin may be forced to start at right wing-back, with Sead Kolasinac on the left, due to a lack of cover in the wide areas.

In midfield, I think Mohamed Elneny could line up alongside the returning Jack Wilshere. Granit Xhaka starting with Wilshere might be too bold from Wenger.

Theo Walcott and Alexis Sanchez could start in the wide attacking roles, with Olivier Giroud leading the line on Thursday night.

Predicted starting XI: Ospina, Bellerin, Holding, Mustafi, Mertesacker, Kolasinac, Elneny, Wilshere, Walcott, Alexis, Giroud.
