Arsenal keep eye on Han Kwang-song after 18-year-old makes impressive Serie B start

Arsenal are reportedly monitoring Cagliari forward, Han Kwang-song, after the 18-year-old made a strong start for his loan side, Perugia.

Han Kwang-song has scored four goals in two appearances for loan team Perugia, helping take the Italian team to the top of the Serie B table.

The 18-year-old forward is reportedly also being watch by Everton and Juventus.

Han Kwang-song has already been capped twice for North Korea and scored once in five games for Cagliari after only making his first appearance in April against Palermo, making him the first North Korean to ever feature in Serie A.

The teenager has already scored a hat-trick for Perugia – the first of his career – against Virtus Entella. It was his Serie B debut.

The youngster came through the ranks at Chobyong Sports Club before signing for Cagliari’s youth side in 2015.

Han is clearly a talented lad and Arsenal could well be watching him, along with several other clubs. However, he’s contracted with Cagliari until 2022, so you might expect that he would want to return there after his loan spell comes to an end, so he can develop a bit further.

Obviously I could be wrong. We’ll just have to see how this story develops.
