Who doesn’t love a trip to Chelsea for an early Sunday kick-off?

Everybody connected with Arsenal, that’s who.

While the players and manager are bullish about Arsenal’s chances against Antonio Conte’s men this season, the fact is Arsenal’s recent record at the Bridge is woeful.

It doesn’t matter what team Arsene Wenger picks, they all seem to struggle, but how will he set up his team to try and avoid another top six humiliation?

Well, we know he will start with a back three, and given who featured from the start on Thursday night, we can make a decent guess at who will start on Sunday.

In goal, Petr Cech will return while in front of him we should see Laurent Koscielny, Shkodran Mustafi and Nacho Monreal.

In front of the back three Granit Xhaka and Aaron Ramsey should also start. There is a slight doubt over the Welshman, but Wenger is optimistic he will be fit to play. At wingback, Sead Kolasinac and Hector Bellerin are no brainers.

Up top, we have some questions. Mesut Ozil will play if fit (another who is a slight doubt but should be fit), leaving two slots to be filled.

Wenger benched Lacazette for the Liverpool game but he’s unlikely to do that this time. With Alexis still reportedly fighting to get back to his best, and having played against FC Koln, it seems as if Danny Welbeck will get the nod once again.

Will that side be enough to beat Chelsea? On paper, yes.

But games at the Bridge aren’t won on paper, they’re won, first and foremost, between the ears…and in that case, Arsenal are in for a very rough afternoon…
