Bayern Munich midfielder Arturo Vidal could snub Arsenal and Manchester United in favour of a move to Inter Milan, according to latest reports.

The Chilean midfielder is apparently being linked with a move away from Bayern Munich, with Arsenal and Manchester United being interested. Yet, according to Gazzetta dello Sport via talkSPORT, the Gunners have no chance of signing Vidal as he’s already agreed a move to Inter Milan.

They say that Vidal has been sold on a move to Inter and has already agreed personal terms. All that’s left is the small matter of the Serie A club agreeing a fee with Bayern Munich, which could be around £50m. There’s one very obvious problem here which is that Inter can’t actually afford to spend such a sum on one player due to FFP restrictions.

The other problem is that Vidal has no reason to leave Bayern at this stage, given he’s winning titles in the Bundesliga while Inter are very much a long-term project and haven’t enjoyed much success of late.

Arsenal have rarely been linked with Vidal over the years, mostly because he’s a player that’s out of our reach. If he were available, you’d think there’d be a lot more noise about it than just a single paper from Italy.
