Manchester City have reportedly offered Raheem Sterling plus cash for Alexis Sanchez.

According to the Mirror, City have offered Arsenal Raheem Sterling plus cash for Alexis.

City have been linked with a move for the Chilean all summer but Arsenal reportedly rejected all approaches and will allegedly only accept around £70m.

The 28-year-old has under a year left on his contract at Arsenal and if Sunday’s performance against Liverpool was anything to go by, he doesn’t want to stay in north London. If anything, the uncertainty surrounding his future at the club is bringing the rest of the squad down.

Sterling signed for City from Liverpool in 2015 for £44m, plus a potential £5m in add-ons. Therefore, depending how much cash the Manchester club are willing to offer, this could be a good deal.

While the England international has suffered a couple of injuries, he’s a brilliant player and would fit in with Arsenal’s style with ease.

The 22-year-old scored seven Premier League goals and assisted 11 in 33 appearances last season, and has already score twice this term.

The winger also had 32 caps for England and has scored twice.
