Alexis Sanchez has reportedly made it very clear to team-mates that he wants to leave Arsenal.

Alexis potentially kissing the Arsenal badge during an open training session on Thursday obviously threw a spanner is the works when it came to the media’s narrative that the Chilean practically hates his current club.

Therefore, after making a story out of Alexis desperately wanting to leave Arsenal all summer, they’ve now made a story out of the 28-year-old’s team-mates allegedly knowing that he wants to leave.

The Daily Mail claim that they ‘understand’ that Alexis has left his ‘colleagues’ in no doubt over whether he wants to be at Arsenal or not next season. Spoiler alert: apparently, he doesn’t.

“However, Sportsmail understands the South American left his colleagues under no illusion of his preference to leave the Emirates Stadium this summer as he arrived back to their Hertforshire HQ on Tuesday,” they write.

The report has just one throwaway comment in one paragraph, which they’ve used for the headline, and then gone back to essentially rehashing the story so far, that Alexis has one year left on his current deal, Arsene Wenger says he’s staying whether he signs a new contract or not, and PSG and Manchester City have been linked.

I’m not sure what Alexis was apparently doing to inform his Arsenal team-mates that he wants to leave.

Perhaps he turned up to his first training session on Tuesday wearing his ‘I *heart* Pep’ t-shirt while clutching his Wenger voodoo doll.

Maybe he skipped around London Colney singing The Animals’ We gotta get out of this Place while repeatedly giving various Gunners the finger and spitting on the ground.

Or, perhaps, he just returned to training, separate from the rest of the group along with Shkodran Mustafi because he’s not fit yet, and got on with it because despite what his behaviour sometimes suggests, he is an adult.
