Jack Wilshere has reportedly been offered to Real Betis.

Arsenal have offered Wilshere to Real Betis since the 25-year-old has been informed that he’s not in Arsene Wenger’s plans for the season, claims Spanish outlet Estadio Deportivo [via the Sun].

The La Liga club reportedly aren’t in the market for a central midfielder but could take a punt on the England international.

Wilshere has under a year left on his contract at Arsenal and while it’s pretty clear that he doesn’t have a future at the club, it would be a shame if the Gunners just allowed him to stagnate in north London for a whole season before losing him for free when his contract runs out next year.

The midfielder recently made a couple of promising appearances for Arsenal’s u23s since returning from another hairline fracture to his fibula. He even got an assist against Manchester City at the Emirates. However, during the same match, a young City player bundled him over and the injure-prone Englishman saw red, pushing the player over and getting sent from the pitch.

The 25-year-old spent last season on loan at Bournemouth and managed to stay fit until April.

He’ll have a fine career somewhere if he can stay fit and keep his head down. It’s unfortunate that this career isn’t at Arsenal.
