Manchester City have reportedly made a second bid for Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez, according to latest reports.

Pep Guardiola is turning up the pressure to sign Alexis Sanchez, with another bid lodged for the 28-year-old. The Gunners are enduring a nightmare of a transfer window, with the prospect of losing another key player from the squad without having a replacement lined up.

Arsenal have so far knocked back any interest from the Sky Blues and instead want a player attached to any deal to allow the Chilean to the Etihad Stadium. But City want a cash-only deal as they don’t want to lose any of their first-team players.

Alexis Sanchez previously stated his desire to play for a Champions League club and is believed to be keen to renew acquaintances with Pep Guardiola, with the pair knowing each other well from their Barcelona day.

Arsenal don’t want to lose such an influential player who scored and created 34 goals in the Premier League last season, but they may be resigned to losing the 28-year-old as City won’t let up.
