Brazilian winger Lucas Moura could leave Paris Saint-Germain after the signing of Neymar, with Arsenal mentioned as a potential destination, according to reports.

The Ligue 1 runners-up completed the £198m signing of Neymar last week, and inevitably there’s now talk of which players could make way to accommodate the most expensive player in history. This could be of interest to Arsenal, who are looking at signing a winger this summer.

According to UOL Esporte, Brazilian international Lucas Moura has been advised by his entourage to leave Paris Saint-Germain before the transfer window closes. The report even links him with Arsenal, claiming the Gunnerrs have already a bid rejected.

The Parisians could sell Lucas for £27m, which seems like a reasonable price in the current market. Almost too reasonable. PSG signed Lucas for £40m from Sao Paulo back in 2012 and he’s gone on to make 212 appearances for the French giants.

At 24, his best years are surely still ahead of him. You’d imagine that PSG would want to make a profit on him if they’re going to sell him. Apparently, Arsenal aren’t the only club interested in him, claim the Daily Star, suggesting that teams from Italy are also monitoring him.
