Leicester City will be without new signing Vicente Iborra for tonight’s Premier League opener against Arsenal.

It seems Arsenal won’t be the only team with some injury problems going into this evening’s game against Leicester.

New Leicester signing Vicente Iborra was expected to make his debut for The Foxes tonight, but has now been ruled out of the game with a groin injury.

According to the Leicester Mercury, Iborra won’t be Leicester’s only absentee. Fellow midfielder Danny Drinkwater will also miss the game with a thigh injury, and centre back Robert Huth will remain absent after having ankle surgery in July.

So while Arsenal will be somewhat depleted, Leicester will be without three of their best players. Huth has been a key part of their backline, which has proven difficult for Arsenal to break down in recent encounters. Drinkwater is one of their key creative influences, while Iborra is a big unit in midfield with deceptively good technique and an eye for goal.

Leicester have, though, received a boost over the fitness of another new signing: Kelechi Iheanacho. Iheanacho was a doubt after picking up an ankle knock in a friendly, but should be okay to play and score on his début against us.
