Sead Kolasinac was pleased to score his first Arsenal goal against Chelsea on Sunday.

Kolasinac probably couldn’t have scored his first goal in an Arsenal shirt at a better time.

While the left-back has been steadily improving over the course of the Gunners’ pre-season, his performance against Chelsea was brilliant.

The icing on the cake was the goal, a neat header floated in by man of the match Granit Xhaka, which brought the scoreline to 1-1 a minute after Chelsea had gone down to 10 men.

Arsenal went on to win the match 4-1 on penalties.

Kolasinac took to social media post-match to celebrate the win and thank his teammate Xhaka for what was a stunning assist.

The midfielder had a superb game himself, winning man of the match and boasting 90% pass accuracy, including four key passes.

Last season, the 24-year-old only managed to rack up three assists over all competitions, so hopefully he feels confident enough to continue delivering those beautiful drifting balls into the box.

He also created 34 chances during the 2016/17 Premier League campaign, so if he can use his eye for a pass in the future, we should be laughing. Well, assuming that someone finds the back of the net with it, that is.

It was great to see Arsenal’s two tanks working together.
