Inter Milan are planning a move for Paris Saint-Germain winger Julian Draxler.

In another game of transfer dominoes, Inter Milan are hoping to sign Julian Draxler from PSG as part of a deal that would see Portuguese midfielder Joao Mario go the other way.

That’s according to Corriere dello Sport via talkSPORT, who state that Inter are willing to let Mario go to PSG, but only if they receive the German international in return.

Arsenal are, of course, mentioned here due to their past attempts to sign him. Back in 2013, when Draxler was an emerging player at Schalke, there was talk £40m bids and converting him into a striker.

The links persisted throughout the years, even as Draxler moved on to Wolfsburg and then PSG. The 23-year-old has been with the Parisians since last January and has greatly impressed during his short stint in France. You’d think it’d be far too early for him to leave.

However, with Neymar set to sign for PSG, there could be a remote possibility of Draxler becoming collateral damage. A sale now seems unlikely, with the Ligue 1 outfit being notoriously aggressive when it comes to keeping hold of their stars.

However, that might change in a few months time if Draxler finds his playing time limited due to Neymar. In which case, you can expect plenty of Draxler to Arsenal stories to appear.
