Gary Neville echoed what most Gooners are thinking after Arsenal’s shambolic 4-0 loss away to Liverpool on Sunday.

Former Manchester United captain, Gary Neville, was absolutely disgusted by Arsenal’s performance against Liverpool on Sunday afternoon. However, unlike most, the pundit chose not to criticise Arsene Wenger and instead ripped into the Gunners themselves.

“I’m fuming. There’s three or more Arsenal players who want a move – but looking at this, who would buy them?” Neville blasted.

“The only positive for Arsene Wenger is that there are still a few days left of the transfer window for him to get rid of as many of these as he can.

“I’d put the whole lot of them on the transfer list. They would end up with a better club than they’ve got out there now. At times it was absolutely pathetic

“The lack of respect by three or four players for the shirt is disgraceful at such a great club.”

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Alexis Sanchez both want to leave Arsenal. No matter how often people say not to believe everything you read in the media, all you have to do is take one look at their body language and you know that they would rather be anywhere else.

The Ox, who reportedly turned down Arsenal’s offer of an £180k-per-week contract last week despite spending 154 games sidelined through injury in just six years, has been linked with a move to Chelsea and Liverpool.

Antonio Conte’s side are said to have had a £25m bid rejected and are allegedly set to return with an offer of £35m.

Manchester City, meanwhile, are reportedly willing to pay up to £60m for Alexis.

Both players have less than a year left on their current deals and both played terribly against Liverpool. It’s unprofessional and disappointing, to say the least. Especially from the Ox, since Arsenal have been so good to him since the 24-year-old signed from Southampton in 2011.

Neville mentions that ‘three or more’ players don’t want to be at the club, so presumably the third is Mesut Ozil, who also has under a year left on his current deal. However, if you look at his social media post after the defeat compared to Alexis’s, the German still seems the most likely to stay.

The pundit could also mean Shkodran Mustafi, who has allegedly had trouble bonding with the rest of the Arsenal squad, is also set to leave before the transfer window closes on 31 August.
