Gabriel has allegedly landed in Valencia ahead of his rumoured £10m move.

Gabriel is reportedly set to sign for Valencia any day now in a deal worth £10m – £1m less than the Gunners paid two years ago.

The 25-year-old has landed in Valencia ahead of the move, accompanied by his wife and son.

Gabriel looked smiley and happy upon his arrival, and I imagine is feeling positive ahead of getting some proper game time under his belt.

Since signing from Villarreal in 2015, the centre-back has never truly fit in at Arsenal and has only made 46 Premier League appearances.

While Gabriel wasn’t the worst centre-back in the world, he certainly wasn’t the best, and while Gooners certainly wish him the best of luck, they’re probably not going to be devastated to see the back of him.

The Brazilian has only recently started running again after injuring his cruciate knee ligament during the final game of last season against Everton. However, Valencia will be well aware of this ahead of signing him and, as Arsene Wenger recently confirmed, he’s been running again.

If the move does go through, which is looks like it will, we wish Gabriel the best of luck at his new club.
