Stan Collymore, of all people, has labeled Alexis Sanchez a disgrace.

The former Liverpool man believes that Alexis is forcing a move away from Arsenal but has gone about it in completely the wrong way.

“Some Arsenal supporters seem happy to say, ‘Alexis Sanchez is a great guy, he’s a model pro’ but I am sorry, he is not,” Collymore wrote in his column for the Sunday People [via the Daily Star].

“He is angling to get out of Arsenal and he is not doing it in a proper way.

“Like Danny Rose, he is a disgrace as well.”

Alexis has been heavily linked with a move away from Arsenal this summer, despite Arsene Wenger insisting that he’s staying put.

The 28-year-old has less than a year left on his current deal and the boss isn’t optimistic that he’ll extend it. However, the club are allegedly holding firm on not selling the forward, especially to a rival amid links with Manchester City.

If we believe everything we read in the media, the bloke can’t wait to leave north London. However, according to Wenger, he’s returned to training from his abdominal injury and is happy and focused.

I do have some rather cynical thoughts about Alexis purely regarding what my gut’s telling me and I am a little sceptical about this supposed abdominal injury, since he’s due to return just days before the end of the transfer window on 27 August, but we don’t know that this is him being disruptive behind the scenes or refusing to play.

Therefore, I’ll reserve judgement.
