Krystian Bielik could reportedly be going out on loan to either Leeds United or Nottingham Forest this season.

Bielik is set for a loan move this summer and has allegedly been in talks with Leeds and Nottingham Forest, claims Chris Wheatley of Goal.

The 19-year-old was supposed to be joining Eintracht Frankfurt earlier in the window on a two-year loan, but the deal broke down, with Frankfurt director Bruno Hubner claiming that Bielik wasn’t ready.

Speaking to German outlet Kicker, Hubner said: “We retain a close and intensive contact with Arsenal and have talked again and again about this player. Bielik is a player with a lot of potential, however the Bundesliga would be too early for him.”

The Poland youth international, who signed for Arsenal from Legia Warsaw in 2015, made 14 appearances for the Gunners’ u23s last season but only played three minutes for the senior side in the EFL Cup.

The teenager then went out on loan to Birmingham City, where Carl Jenkinson and Cohen Bramall have gone this term.

While there, he featured 10 times in the Championship.

Bielik can play at centre-back or defensive midfield, so is a versatile player to have, and did well in Arsenal’s pre-season this summer.

His contract with the Gunners still has three years on it, so there’s plenty of time for him to gain experience and potentially break into the first team later on.

It seems, if the reports are to be believed, Arsenal are really pushing for this loan move so hopefully that’ll happen for him.
