Arsenal had three loan players up for involvement on Saturday, so we’re going to round up how things panned out for the trio.

The Gunners still haven’t completed their summer business, and it’s likely there will be quite a few more loan moves before the end of the window, but for now Takuma Asano, Marc Bola, Stephy Mavididi and Emi Martinez are the four Arsenal loanees to catch up on.

Getafe, and, potentially Emi, have a game on Sunday, but the other three had the chance to make an appearance on Saturday as the bulk of the matches took place.

Takuma Asano

asano stuttgart debut 2

Asano played his second competitive match of the current campaign, having played 55 minutes of Stuttgart’s 3-2 cup win over Cottbus last week.

On this occasion Stuttgart were facing up against Hertha BSC in their first match in the Bundesliga, after achieving promotion in the prior campaign, and it was Asano’s Bundelisga debut.

However, although Asano completed the full 90 minutes, playing on the right for the German side, it ended up being a disappointing 2-0 loss for Stuttgart. Asano did, however, hit the bar.

Stephy Mavididi

Stephy made the bench for Preston in their Championship match against Reading. He got the chance to make his league debut in the 88th minute, playing the final seconds of the 1-0 win.

Only a cameo appearance but good to get off the mark in terms of minutes.

Marc Bola

Marc once again made the bench for Bristol Rovers against Bury, for the fourth game in a row, but as with the previous matches failed to get any action on the pitch.

Bristol won the match 3-2.
