Petr Cech exploded into a rant at his Arseanl teammates after the defeat to Liverpool, according to reports.

Cech could do little else but watch as his teammates walked around the pitch and let Liverpool score four goals. According to the Daily Mail, the performance left Cech so angry that he accused his teammates of letting themselves down and embarrassing the club.

He wasn’t wrong, but if the Mail’s report is anything to go by, his words may have fallen on deaf ears. Cech has experienced a number of big defeats with Arsenal. His time here has been a far cry from his successful time at Chelsea, where big defeats were extremely rare.

The culture at Arsenal is very different and it’s extremely worrying that reports of a disillusioned dressing room are already coming out. The Mail reports that the Arsenal players are bemused by some of Wenger’s recent decisions.

Leaving Alexandre Lacazette on the bench was said to be one of them, while there were surely some questions about the decision to start Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain when he clearly didn’t want to be there.

Off the pitch, training sessions are said to be the same as always and the new additions to the coaching team have apparently had little influence. All in all, it sounds like a very unhealthy situation has developed at the club. It doesn’t bode well for the rest of the season.
