Arsenal have reportedly made a bid for PSG’s Adrien Rabiot, a player Arsene Wenger has admired for some time.

Earlier on Thursday, Arsene Wenger was spotted in Paris, the manager there for the France game later this evening.

It was then rumoured on Twitter that Wenger was there to speak to PSG about signing the 22-year-old who has shown frustration in the past over his role in the PSG side. However, it seems he is a lot more settled these days.

Now, the respected and reliable Get French Football News are saying this rumour is coming out of France:

It is unlikely that Arsenal will be able to get the player to agree to a move, and given that they allegedly withdrew from signing Thomas Lemar because the France match meant they couldn’t get the deal done, it’s hard to see how they can then sign Rabiot who is also with the side.

Also, speaking just a few days ago, Rabiot couldn’t contain his excitement over playing with Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.
