Emre Mor is set to join Inter Milan, according to his agent, after multiple English clubs had been linked with the player.

Emre joined Dortmund from Nordsjælland in 2016, having spent his entire youth career in Denmark. In all competitions last season, the Turkish international made 19 appearances and scored one goal, as well as adding three assists. He mostly plays as a right-winger, but has also appeared on the left or as an attacking midfielder for Dortmund.

The S*n previously claimed that the primary clubs interested in the player were Everton, Liverpool, Roma and Inter Milan, but that Arsenal were also keeping an eye on him. Napoli were another club linked. The S*n also claimed that the winger would be available for £12m and that Dortmund weren’t interested in loaning him out.

However, now the Express is reporting that Inter Milan have won the race for the player.

Their information is based on quotes from the player’s agent in AreaNapoli.it. He said to the site: “We have reached an agreement with Inter. The truth on the rumours linking him with Napoli is that the club simply wasn’t interested.”

The Express reported that Everton’s interest was based on the fact that “the player has just 11 months left on his Dortmund contract”. However, other sources appear to discredit this information.

Emre Mor only joined Dortmund a year earlier, and it would be strange for the club to sign such a young player on a deal only lasting two years. As well as this, Transfermarkt.co.uk gives his deal as expiring in 2021.

So, whether we can trust information given by this article is debatable, but it does seem as if Emre Mor is on his way to Italy, or at the very least isn’t on his way to Arsenal.
