Arsenal face Benfica in their first Emirates Cup match following Leipzig’s clash against Sevilla.
Arsenal kick off their eighth Emirates Cup since its inauguration in 2007 with a clash against 36-time Portuguese champions, Benfica.
The game takes place at 4:20pm (UK time) following Leipzig’s 2pm kick-off against Sevilla.
Arsenal have won the Emirates Cup four times, so let’s hope for a fifth this weekend.
Here’s how the Gunners line up against Benfica:

The Gunners are expecting a packed-out stadium for the tournament which sees four teams, including the hosts, battle it out for the pre-season trophy.
While it’s only a friendly tournament, it’s still useful for the managers to analyse where their squads are at in terms of fitness and sharpness just weeks before the new season starts. Plus, it’s a great, comparatively affordable day out for families who may not usually get to see their team play in the flesh.
On Sunday, Arsenal will face Sevilla, also at 4:20pm, following Leipzig v Benfica’s match at 2pm.
The Gunners have only lost one pre-season clash so far, against Chelsea in Bejing, so the lads appear to be in reasonable form.
Let’s see what they can do now they’re back in front of a home crowd.
