Paris Saint-Germain reportedly offered Arsenal Blaise Matuidi or Lucas Moura to convince them to sell Alexis Sanchez.

  • PSG want to sign Alexis, but Arsenal are not selling
  • They offered either Matuidi or Lucas Moura
  • Arsenal are adamant about keeping Alexis

PSG tried hard to sign Alexis over the weekend, with reports of them meeting the player in Paris and making an offer to the Gunners. According to reports from France, the Ligue 1 side offered one of Blaise Matuidi or Lucas Moura in an attempt to convince Arsenal to sell.

Arsenal, though, rejected the offer and have made it clear they are not selling Alexis this summer. Matuidi would strengthen Arsenal’s midfield, while Lucas Moura would be a direct replacement for Alexis.

However, the Londoners are looking to improve their squad while keeping hold of their best players. It was thought Arsenal might be more willing to sell Alexis abroad than to a rival, but it seems Arsenal are unwilling to sell to anyone.
