Prince Albert of Monaco is utterly convinced that Kylian Mbappe with stay put this summer.

Despite Arsenal, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid all reportedly vying for Mbappe’s signature, Prince Albert of Monaco believes that the 18-year-old will stay put this summer and certainly won’t be joining their rivals in Paris.

“I don’t think (that he will leave),” Prince Albert told L’Equipe [via GFFN].

“There are ongoing discussions that make me think he will be at Monaco nest season. The discussions relate to a possible wage hike. But I think that he has understand, his father too, that it is not yet in his interest to go to a huge club, where he is not assured playing time. Even if Zidane has said that he would receive playing time at Real Madrid.”

When asked about Mbappe moving to PSG, he replied, “No. It is my opinion and I think that it is also that of Vadim Vasilyev.”

Mbappe’s potential move has been one of the biggest transfer sagas of the summer so far with Arsenal reportedly bidding £124m, Real ready to sell Gareth Bale, and PSG prepared to hand him massive wages.

However, the France international staying at Monaco has always been the fourth option, and probably the easiest one.

It was rumoured a while ago that Mbappe wanted to remain at the Ligue 1 club as they could guarantee him first team football next season leading up to the World Cup. Add to this the fact that he appears quite happy there and, for him, it’s probably a no-brainer.

However, the transfer window’s not closed yet…
