The Arsenal players trained ahead of their first pre-season friendly against Sydney FC tomorrow.

In what looks like a wet Australia, the Arsenal players continued their preparation ahead of tomorrow’s game against Sydney FC.

“After the sun of our first day in Sydney, we were hit with torrential rain on day two as the boys continued their pre-season preparations with a morning training session,” said Arsenal.com.

The likes of Emi Martinez, Per Mertesacker, Nacho Monreal, Granit Xhaka, Aaron Ramsey, Mohamed Elneny, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Alexandre Lacazette were all pictured being put through their paces as Arsene Wenger looked on.

Several youngsters were also involved, including Krystian Bielik, Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Jo Willock.

An intense outdoor session was followed by an indoor gym session.

This is Arsenal’s second session since arriving in Australia. They are due to have an open training session later this week, where fans will have an opportunity to watch the team train in person.

Arsenal kick-off their pre-season tour against Sydney FC in the ANZ Stadium. A sell-out crowd of 80,000 is expected.

There’ll be plenty of more pictures as the tour progresses.
