The Arsenal squad received a warm welcome from their fans after they arrived in Sydney last night.

The Arsenal squad finally arrived in Australia and were greeted by thousands of jubilant supporters. Fans saw the Arsenal players for the first time in several years and took the opportunity to shake their hands and get their shirts signed.

They had the honour of meeting Arsenal’s new first-team coach Jens Lehmann, while young fan was lucky enough to have an Arsenal home shirt signed by Arsene Wenger. Theo Walcott also took the time out to shake a fan’s hand.

There was an impressive amount of Arsenal memorabilia on display, shirts, scarves, flags and even tattoos were on display. Francis Coquelin and Olivier Giroud also posed with a man in a koala suit, because inevitably you can’t go to Australia without seeing a few koalas.

Arsenal were given an incredible reception by the supporters and will be looking forward to hearing the reception they get on the pitch ahead of their first pre-season friendly this week.
