Chelsea’s Pedro tweeted from his hospital bed to show that he was ok after being absolutely clattered by David Ospina during their friendly game on Saturday.

The Arsenal keeper got his distances completely wrong (again) resulting in Pedro being hammered and ending up with a concussion and a trip to the hospital.

Speaking after the game, Antonio Conte confirmed that Pedro would remain in hospital for the night and, all being well, would travel to meet up with the rest of the team on Sunday. On Sunday, however, it was being reported that Pedro would return home instead.

Chelsea reported on Sunday morning: “Pedro stayed in hospital overnight in Beijing for observation, having sustained a concussion and facial injuries in last night’s game against Arsenal.

“He will now return to London for further review.”

If you remember, this isn’t the first time that Ospina has hit a Chelsea player hard. Some might think that it’s malice from the Colombian.

It isn’t. He’s just incapable of judging distances because he’s not very good.
