The mother of Kylian Mbappe believes her son should move to Real Madrid this summer as the player admits he ‘doesn’t know’ if he will stay at Monaco.

It was looking more and more likely that Kylian Mbappe would be staying at Monaco.

Despite all the links to Arsenal and Real Madrid, recent reports from France suggested that he would sign a new contract with Monaco.

According to France Football, however, Mbappe could yet be convinced to join Real Madrid.

Mbappe’s mother, Fayza Lamari, is reportedly pushing for her son to join Real Madrid.

Madrid sent manager Zinedine Zidane and club president Florentino Perez to convince Mbappe to join them, and seem to have at least left a good impression on his mother.

Arsenal attempted their own charm offensive when Arsene Wenger met with the player and his family.

Meanwhile, the player reportedly said “I don’t know if I will stay,” according to Marca in Spain.

So. It did look as if this saga would settle down sooner rather than later but it now appears it could be one that will drag on for the entire summer.
