Manchester City are believed to be fearing that Jadon Sancho could move to Arsenal.

Sancho is one of the best young talents in the club’s academy and is reportedly concerned about the lack of a pathway to the Man City first-team. He was a key player for England who finished as runners-up in the U17 European Championships and may be set for a move.

The winger has the likes of Leroy Sane and Raheem Sterling – who are both young players themselves – ahead of him, let alone the likes of Kevin De Bruyne and Bernardo Silva who can also play out wide.

According to The Sun, City fear the 17-year-old could move to Arsenal as a result. Arsene Wenger’s track record with youngsters could tempt Sanco to the Emirates. Tottenham, Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig are also said to be monitoring his situation, however.

The Sky Blues reportedly offered Sancho a professional contract worth £30,000 per week but the player has yet to sign it. As a result, he could leave when his current scholarship deal comes to an end next summer.

He was supposed to travel to the US with the City squad for pre-season but has been left in England.
