Lucas Perez has reportedly been offered a 10-year deal with Deportivo La Coruna, as speculation around the Spaniard’s future continues to increase.

After being left out of the Gunners’ pre-season tour, seemingly to complete a move away from the club, Lucas has so far not managed to attract a side willing to pay Arsenal’s asking price of around £10.6m. However, former club Deportivo have now made a massive offer for him, according to AS.

If the report is to be believed, the club want to offer Lucas a 10-year deal as a player and then the chance to remain at Deportivo as technical secretary when he retires. This would certainly seem to be an appealing proposition to the Spanish forward, but the matter of agreeing a fee would still stand in the way of the deal being completed.

Lucas scored seven goals and added five assists in his 21 appearances for Arsenal last season, as well as adding a goal and an assist in his only appearance for Deportivo before he moved. That appearance for Depor was the only time he completed 90 minutes of a league match in 2016/17.
