Thomas Lemar took the time out to take a picture with an Arsenal fan, leading to rumours intensifying of his potential move from Monaco.

In the latest desperate attempt to suggest that Lemar is joining Arsenal, a big deal was made of the Monaco winger taking a picture with an Arsenal supporter. The fan in question encountered Lemar while in Switzerland and asked for a picture. Lemar was nice enough to stop and give him one.

The fan, though, seemed convinced that Lemar would be joining Arsenal based on the encounter. “OMG! I met Thomas Lemar in Saillon, Switzerland,” he said on Twitter. “He seemed really happy taking photos with me. Definitely Arsenal bound!”

“I asked him if he is joining Arsenal, he gave me a smile and walked away.I’m positive he will sign after Monaco’s trip to Switzerland!”

However, reports indicate that Arsenal are not so confident about signing Lemar anymore after Monaco made it clear that the winger is not for sale. The Ligue 1 side have already lost Bernardo Silva and Tiemoue Bakayoko this summer and are keen to shut the door on further deals.

It would take a crazy offer to convince them to sell now.
