Alexandre Lacazette is a big fan of his new Arsenal shirt and couldn’t contain his excitement ahead of his debut at the ANZ Stadium.

As the players prepared for their friendly against Sydney FC, the players posted pictures of their names and numbers on the new Arsenal third kit.

Lacazette would don his new shirt later on in the game, and seemed to like it.

Lacazette appeared as a late substitute in Arsenal’s 2-0 victory.

Playing slightly deeper than he probably will during the season, the club-record signing put in a busy performance harrying the opposition and creating chances for his team mates.

In the 83rd minute, the new signing bagged his first goal for the club with a nice poacher’s finish.

It was the moment the 80,000 strong crowd wanted to see and is the perfect confidence booster for him.

Lacazette’s team mates rushed over to congratulate him. International teammate and friend Antoine Griezmann was also pleased for him on Twitter.

Fingers crossed this goal will be the first of many.
