James Rodriguez is believed to be happy in Spain and wants to say at Real Madrid despite links to everyone.

  • Rodriguez has been linked with Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal
  • Earlier reports claimed he wanted to leave for more first team football
  • New reports now stay he wants to stay

Reports last month said that Rodriguez wanted to leave Madrid after not receiving enough first team football last season.

Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United have been named as potential destinations, but nothing concrete has materialised.

The source reporting this appears to be unsure themselves. One report says that Rodriguez wouldn’t move to Chelsea because he only wants to join Manchester United, but another says he doesn’t want to join United either.

It now appears he wants to stay in Madrid, because he’s happy and settled in Spain.

Nobody quite knows what’s going with this one. There’s a feeling that Rodriguez isn’t entirely happy with his situation but, at the same time, he doesn’t seem to be pushing to leave, nor are Madrid offering him around.
