Olivier Giroud has flown to China with the rest of the Arsenal squad for their pre-season tour and he’s rather excited.

  • Giroud has already scored once against Western Sydney Wanderers in pre-season
  • Arsenal face Bayern Munich and Chelsea while in China
  • Striker excited to experience new country

Giroud recently revealed that although he’s been to Asia on tour with Arsenal before, he’s never been to China and he’s really excited to experience all their country has to offer.

“I’ve been a few times in Asia with Arsenal,” Big Sexy told Arsenal Player.

“I’ve been in Japan, in Vietnam and Indonesia. I’ve never been to China, so it’s going to be a new adventure for us and me.

“I can’t wait to get there and it’s going to be a new experience for me. Everything that is new in my life is very exciting, so I am looking forward to that.”

The 30-year-old could be about to embark on another ‘new adventure’ this summer as he’s being consistency linked with a move away from Arsenal despite only signing a new deal at the beginning of 2017.

The France international’s lack of consistent playing time has made him uncertain about whether he should stay in north London, especially now that the Gunners have splashed £52m on Alexandre Lacazette.

Although Arsene Wenger is convinced Giroud will stay at Arsenal, West Ham, Everton, Marsille, Lyon and even Fenerbahce have all been linked with a move for the big guy.
