With Gianluigi ‘Gigi’ Donnarumma signing a new four-year deal with AC Milan, does this mean that Arsenal can now play hardball over Wojciech Szczesny’s move to Juventus?

While Juventus appear to be on the verge of signing Woj, they’ve also been linked with 18-year-old Milan goalkeeper, Donnarumma, who kept 12 clean sheets in Serie A last season.

However, the Italy international has just gone and signed a new, four-year deal with his current club, taking him completely off the market and meaning that Juve will now be desperate to sign Woj since he’s the only shot-stopper in the picture.

The Serie A team want the 27-year-old to become Gianluigi Buffon’s successor once his contract runs out next year and now that no one else is in the frame, they might be getting nervous.
