We go again!

The summer has been long and full of transfer gossip, not so full of Arsenal transfers, and new season is upon us! So, it’s time for new monthly wallpapers!

For this season, I teamed up with @gunnerballz who made this exclusive drawing of our legend Ian Wright.

Every month he will draw a different Arsenal legend whose shirt number corresponds with that month. We hope you guys like it and is just one of the new things we will be introducing over the upcoming season. Make sure you follow him on Twitter and Instagram!

So how does August looks? First we have the Community Shield mtch against Chelsea. Some will say it’s just another friendly, Jose Mourinho will say it ranks as high as the Europa League trophy. I will, naturally, agree with him if we win and completely mock the trophy if we loose.

The league starts with a traditional Friday evening matchday, at home to Leicester City. I just hope it’s a better first match than it was last season, nothing more.

After that, we have two away matches. We are getting the terrible trip away to Stoke over and done with bright and early in the season. The same goes for the next away match, against Liverpool.

I have to say, it’s hard for me to judge at the moment what to expect from the season ahead and what will happen. We could still sign someone else, we could still sell some people, and all the teams we are facing can do the same. I am hoping for four wins, and I know we are capable of it.

Good luck to us all in the new season – I think will be more exciting than ever!
