Everton have reportedly made Olivier Giroud their top transfer target this summer.

Everton are the latest team to be linked with a move for Giroud this summer and apparently they’ve made signing the 30-year-old their priority.

The Toffees are reportedly ready to fork out £20m for the France international, which is the same amount West Ham were allegedly ready to spend last week.

Arsenal are said to be holding out for £30m as the striker has two years left on his current deal after extending his contract at the beginning of the year. However, given his age, they may have to lower their expectations if they genuinely want to shift him.

story trackerNot that Everton won’t have the money, considering the whole reason they’re said to be bringing Giroud on board is because they’re selling Romelu Lukaku to Chelsea, and they value him at £100m.

With the Gunners signing Alexandre Lacazette any day now, Giroud’s days in north London look numbered.

Ligue 1 clubs Lyon and Marseille are also said to be interested.
