Chelsea have made an offer for Real Madrid full back Danilo who has been linked with Arsenal this season.

  • Danilo is second-choice right back at Madrid
  • Arsenal were linked with Danilo earlier in the summer

The Brazilian full back has been second fiddle to Dani Carvajal at Real Madrid, which inevitably means he’s looking for a move away.

According to reports, Chelsea are hoping that an offer of £28m will be enough to sign the player, who could replace Victor Moses as their right wing back.

Danilo was linked with Arsenal back in May, as reports suggested a £26m could happen.

However, that move would have been dependent on the future of Hector Bellerin who, at the time, was being courted by Barcelona.

With Bellerin staying at Arsenal, a big money move for a right back is very unlikely.

Even though backup full backs Mathieu Debuchy and Carl Jenkinson are due to leave the club, Arsenal show no signs of bringing in another right back this summer.
