Hector Bellerín has seemingly ‘confirmed’ he’s heading back to London with his latest post on social media.

Bellerín, who has been linked with a move back to Barcelona this summer despite signing a six-and-a-half year deal with Arsenal, has jokingly put the rumours to bed in an Instagram post.

The 22-year-old has been on holiday while he rests and recovers from his time at the European U21 Championships, where he played every minute of their road to the final.

Metro are reporting that he’s been linked with a £26m move to Barcelona, but all the evidence from the player himself, and from manager Arsène Wenger, suggests he plans to stay at the club.

Firstly he tweeted back in June that we shouldn’t believe all the rumours surrounding his future:

Now, as his holiday comes to a close, he has jokingly posted “going back to London” on Instagram, along with a picture of himself paddle boarding.

It certainly seems like the Spaniard plans to be lining up in red and white when the new season begins on August 11th.
