After weeks of high-profile chasing, Barcelona now claim that Hector Bellerin doesn’t meet their ‘conditions’.

Barcelona have been heavily linked with a move for Bellerin this summer despite the 22-year-old signing a new six-year deal with Arsenal at the end of 2016.

The Catalans have tried everything, from trying to unsettled the Spaniard through the media, to harping on about his Barca DNA, to allegedly issuing him with an ultimatum and even reportedly leaking a list of potential transfer targets that they could sign instead of him.

However, obviously none of this has worked because the La Liga giants have now thrown their toys out the pram and, according to Sport [via Sport Witness], they’re claiming that Bellerin doesn’t meet their ‘physical and technical conditions’.

Arsenal were reportedly demanding £50m for the right-back, which Barca weren’t will to cough up, and since Bellerin wouldn’t force a move like they wanted him to, they’ve been left with egg on their face.

This isn’t the first time they’ve done this and it won’t be the last.

If Barca don’t get their way, they turn into sniveling teenagers who claim that the person they’ve been pursuing for months and has just gone off with someone else is actually really ugly and they never wanted them anyway.
